Welcome to AASLD Mentor Connect!

Join Program

After thorough consideration, AASLD has made the decision to discontinue the Mentor Connect platform. The platform is scheduled to terminate on Tuesday, April 30. We encourage you to explore our many other mentoring opportunities at The Liver Meeting, like the Women’s Networking Luncheon or our Liver Fellow Network sessions and events.

We hope you will take advantage of future opportunities to connect with potential mentors and mentees through programming at AASLD meetings and other networking events. Our Career Center has many professional development resources including advice on networking, career growth, and more. Then, don’t forget about Liver Connect, AASLD’s member forum, where you can join discussions with your peers around the world. LiverLearning also features webinars that can help you figure out your next steps, like how to make the most of future mentor-mentee relationships

Thank you for your participation in the program.

Why Become a Mentor?

A mentor is a guide. A friend. A resource who helps pave the way for others to succeed. It’s not about having all the right answers. Your role as a mentor is to inspire, encourage, and support your mentee, contributing to their development through thoughtful conversation and consultation.

Why Become a Mentee?

With the help of a mentor, you can gain new knowledge and skillsets that can broaden your career opportunities and personal networks for advancement. As a mentee, gain the confidence necessary to tackle short and long-term goals, navigate challenges, and accelerate your growth.

One of the greatest values of mentors is the ability to see ahead what others cannot see and to help them navigate a course to their destination. - John C. Maxwell
